The Artesia Aquatic Center Foundation is a non-profit organization that was incorporated in the State of New Mexico in June 2017. The foundation relies on the generosity of volunteers, and area professionals that provide services by serving as members of the Board of Directors and on our Advisory Council.
The Board of Directors and Advisory Committee developed a plan to raise private funds and, through the Foundation and public entities, assist in building a public aquatic facility to benefit the citizens of the City of Artesia.
The Artesia Aquatic Center is an attraction for local youth and families to enjoy as well as for regional events and a purpose destination for travelers in the area, while providing the opportunity for business enhancement and development.
The pool is now open and has been a great success. We look forward to continuing the success.
